Itinerary description
Au départ de la plage de Saint Brice au nord d' Andernos, l'itinéraire longe la plage jusqu'à la pointe des Quinconces. Là, le randonneur s'engage près des réservoirs à poissons jusqu'aux cabanes du port ostréicole. Le sentier du littoral passe ensuite au bord de l' église Saint Eloi à laquelle se juxtaposent les vestiges d'une villa gallo-romaine faisant face au bassin. Puis le visiteur s'engage à l'intérieur de la cité balnéaire vers le parc Broustic. Un détour permettra d'admirer la jetée-promenade la plus longue de France (232m).
Le circuit remonte vers le nord à travers la la pinède et mène au ruisseau de Cirès. En suivant son lit sablonneux qui se jette près de la plage de Saint Brice, le randonneur rejoindra le départ.
From the Saint Brice beach, north of Andernos, the route runs along the beach to the Quinconces spike. There, hikers stroll near the fish tanks up to the cabins of the oyster port. The coastal path passes beside the Saint Eloi church next to the remains of a Gallo-Roman villa facing the bay. Then, visitors steer inside the seaside city to the Broustic park. Thanks to a short detour, they will admire the longest pier promenade in France (232m).
The tour goes north through the pine forest and leads to the Cirès stream. Following its sandy bed which ends near the Saint Brice beach, hikers will join their starting point.
