Itinerary description
This trail starts at the Volcan Arenal visitor's center and climbs up until an old lava field that lets you watch the Arenal Volcano activity. Frequent sounds and even light earthquakes may be perceived in the area. The most impressive sights are due to the boulders in fire that runs downhill from the top of the crater at short intervals. Simply amazing.
