Itinerary description
The highlight of this loop is that much of it follows Bear Run. There are several bridge crossings with beautiful views of the stream. The portions through dense thickets of Rhododendron are serene and relaxing. There are places to go down to the creek and explore a wild mountain stream. Any season is worth the visit.
