Itinerary description
A recording of a guided tour trough the Aposelemi George.
Descent trough the Aposelemi George, starting in the Village Kalo Chorio, ending under a highway bridge South of Analipsi (sorry, the recording started a bit late :) ).
If you do not want to go trough the trouble of arranging transport between the start/end point; take a guided tour. Or:
-1. Walk back and forth. This makes it a lot harder (especially uphill), but it is possible (it will take you the whole day).
-2. Park the car at the end point, and take some transport to the start point (or the other way around).
The endpoint is reachable by car. At the time of the recording there was some building going on. But you can easily park over there.
In the village at the starting point there is are two places to get something to eat/drink. But probably these are not open early in the morning.
Be aware that you will have to do some climbing, jumping, etc. to get over some of the big boulders in the riverbed.
Furthermore, only do this “unsupervised” if you have some experience in hiking and have the right gear to do these kind of hikes.
