Itinerary description
A pleasant walk from Anópoli plateau to Hóra Sfakía with its buses, ferries and cashpoints
The central section of the walk follows a side ravine of the Ilingas Gorge. The top half of this attractive path has a kalderimi that often appears alongside, it doesn't really matter whether you take the ravine or path. The lower section takes you through almost tunnel like sections, then onto an impressive kalderimi into the main gorge
The kalderimi reappears on the opposite wall of the gorge
The ravine central to this walk is very narrow in many places - avoid this route if heavy rain is forecast
