Itinerary description
This walk starts in the small mountain village of Ano Kefala, and follows a good dirt track with minimal elevation gain for the first couple of miles. It then turns up a rougher track and climbs to Agios Spiridonas chapel. From there, the route follows a very steep path that levels out at a saddle, then drops to a track where there's a nice picnic area with a view over the valley. From there, the route follows a mix of dirt track and paved road back to the start.

Very nice trekking route. Took us 5 hrs or so as rookies. Easy to park car and walk around the route. We used trekking shoes but this route is doable with normal shoes if you are careful with your steps on loose stones. Scenery was awesome and we encountered a lot of goats. There were two guardian dogs along the route but they didn't mind us more than just barking when we passed by them.
