Another stage of approach.
We leave Dhaulagiri to enter the Annapurna valley, of which Chomrong is the gateway.
Simple stage, not long and essentially downhill, from 2700 to 2250. There is a huge landslide and stairs to cross that surround Chomrong (but it will be much worse on the way back coming from Sinuwa...)
Several panoramic points, various visible stupas, even a curious secondary school at 2500m.
We are still in inhabited areas with splendid terraces (especially around Chomrong). However, the landslide, in continuous movement, covers houses and fields with dust.
The village of Gurjung is buried under a layer of light dust that looks like ash.
In the first part, beautiful woods, flowers in the lodges, cultivated fields, an inhabited and well-kept area.
When you arrive in the landslide area (which forces you to make a wide turn) things change.
Then you go up/down to Chomrong with the fateful stairs.
Chomrong is a fairly important center (there is also an exchange bank) and is the last place adequately equipped before entering the Annapurna valley. This is where you usually take your last hot shower.
