FIFTH STAGE: Call - Bratang - Dhikur Pokharu - Upper Pisang
Fully alpine landscape, wooded area with fir trees, pine trees and rocky mountains.
Between Bratang and Dhikur Pokharu, we see the Marsyangdi River a little smaller, enough waterfalls, a gorge and a glacier.
We begin to notice the lack of oxygen, which makes us go a bit slower than usual.
On the track there is a straight line, in this case it was not a mistake for me to pause the recording at a break and not start it up again, but the GPS has lost the signal when we passed through the gorge;)
Let's stop making tea at Dhikur Ponha, where there are many guest houses with terraces on the top, with breathtaking views of the mountains that we have left behind.
After a steep climb, we reach Upper Pisang, with the surprise that for the first time, we see the tip of the Annapurna 2!
We are looking for a guest house on the upper part of the village (yes, a bit more climbing, but surely with good views), and we choose the "Hotel Mountain Bridge & Rooftop Restaurant".
In the house there are two very kind girls and a baby. Very good food too!
We leave the backpacks and raise a little more to see a Buddhist monastery. It is the new monastery of the town. The old man is in the process of reconstruction.
