Itinerary description

This is a short segment of the Appalachian Trail. The trail head is located on US40 close to I-70. There is a small parking lot which gets full on weekends, especially in the early afternoon. A short walk will take you to the AT. From there it’s a steep short up hill for about a mile and additional 1.2 mile to the Annapolis Rock. Very nice view from there.
