Itinerary description
Start and finish in the car park in front of the bowls club just off Cameron Road, there is ample parking here and also picnic tables for a snack after your walk.
There is a shopping strip over the Great Ocean road and there is also public toilets there.
This walk is part of the Surf Coast walk and is clearly sign posted and well defined, you share the track with cyclists and joggers.
The track takes you through typical coastal grassed areas and scrub, watch out for kangaroos in the grassy areas.
We timed our walk to arrive at Point Addis at low tide, there is still quite a bit of rock scrambling at Black Bluff, but once you clear this obstacle it's an easy walk back along the beach to Anglesea.
Overall an easy to Moderate walk, there is a couple of steeper climbs but nothing serious.
Dog friendly.
Only attempt the beach leg at LOW TIDE,
