Itinerary description
This walk follows the Surfcoast Walk and is the final 2sections. Whilst this is a one way walk (we left a car at Fairhaven) you can do 2 return trips by doing Anglesea to Urquhart's Bluff return and Urquhart's Bluff to Fairhaven return both being around 15kms return.
Parking at Anglesea is plentiful and Urquhart's Bluff there is a road that goes down from the roadside viewing area to the beach that has some parking. Fairhaven doesn't have a lot of parking so best to avoid in surf season.
There is a large chunk of beach walking so make sure you check the tides and start just before low tide to give you maximum time to walk. The official walk guide says that from Urquhart's the track is grade 4 difficult. I'm not sure why as I found it well marked and I've walked a lot worse that have been grade 3. Therefore don't be put off by that. I think it's the nicest part of the Surfcoast Walk.
