This is a great outing for a long day! It is important to know that long parts of this are not on an established trail and you are just finding your way up steep forested ridge lines. The trail also ends with the last few miles on a dirt road if you choose to take the path back to the car shown in the gps track. You can also reverse your original climbing route if you want to stay on trail. The views of the inland ranges and the Gaeta Coast are amazing from all parts of this hike. The best part is all the summits that you stand on top of....a great training hike for preparation to head into larger mountains. Enjoy.

Hi!
Some of my trails are "fuori sentiero" that means "off road", I always warn about it, and this trail is not an exception, you can read it here:
"Al ritorno dritti fino al m.Petrella ***fuori sentiero*** lungo la cresta ma sempre in ombra per evitare la neve",
the translation is "our return way until m.Petrella was made off road in order to avoid the snow", previously I wrote we found a lot of snow and we were wearing summer shoes, I apologize if it was not clear enough.
Please look for this phrase (fuori sentiero) in my trail description in future if you want to follow me and don't want to do other "off roads"
Ciao! Sai dirmi se ci sono aree attrezzate per bivaccare?
