Route on the north ridge of the Vipacco valley
The first destination is the Vitosko Jezero, the only natural lake left in the Vipacco valley, 7 wide
meters, 10 long and no more than 1 meter deep. Immediately afterwards you reach the church of the Assumption of Mary, mentioned in a document of the Counts of Gorizia from 1361, located on a rocky outcrop from which the splendid scenery of the Vipacco valley and the Gorizia plain appears.
Nearby is the chapel of Santa Lucia (known as an energy point!) with a small spring whose water is said to be beneficial for eye care.
From here the ascent continues up to the edge of the edge of the valley and then, on a flat path, you arrive at the natural window of Skozno Okno.
From this point it will be worth continuing to the terrace above the source of the Ljiak from where the paragliders take off.
