Itinerary description
Da Fonte D'Olio per il passo del Lupo fino alla spiaggia delle due sorelle. Salita per la cresta Est del Conero (tratti esposti con passaggi di I°, da affrontare con scarponi e in assenza di vento e pioggia, massima attenzione alla roccia rotta) fino al monastero e ridiscesa al punto di partenza.

We deden het eerste gedeelte van ongeveer 4 km, tot aan het restaurant van de 2 gezusters, dan zijn we langs dezelfde weg teruggekeerd naar start, want we prefereerden de bosweg boven lopen langs een baantje waar op zondag talrijke restaurantbezoekers ( met de nodige glazen wijn bij de lunch) terugreden op dezelfde baan, blij met onze beslissing, mooie tocht

Nice path to do in sprin or autumn. Summer is really too hot in Ancona. The ground is rocky for most of the path. Quite involving but the part above "Due Sorelle" is quie steep and there only a part that it must be carfull a little bit more. I takes not so much time and anyway on the way to fonte d'olio on the top of the Monte Conero there is a nice restoring area to drink and stop a while.
This trail is not well-marked. Heading south, from Belvedere Sud, the tracks have you turn left to go toward the Passo del Lupo; however, there is no clear path. Perhaps there was one when the tracks were created, but it has worn away. You can get to the Passo del Lupo by staying on the main trail, continuing south past the Belvedere sud, then turning left on the less worn path, but clearly marked trail towards the Grotta del Mortarolo. Otherwise, the tracks, as recorded, are dangerous.
Questo percorso non è ben segnalato. Dirigendosi verso sud, dal punto, ‘Belvedere Sud’, le traccie ti fanno girare a sinistra per andare verso il Passo del Lupo; pero’, non esiste un percorso chiaro. Forse ce n'era uno quando le tracce sono state create, ma ora non c’e’ piu’. In ogni caso, si può arrivare al Passo del Lupo rimanendo sul sentiero principale, proseguendo verso sud superando il Belvedere sud, eventualmente svoltando a sinistra su un sentiero meno usurato, ma ben segnato, seguendo il sentiero verso la Grotta del Mortarolo. Altrimenti, le tracce, come registrate, sono pericolose.
