Itinerary description
This is my return from an out-and-back hike on the E4 European Path at the Southwestern coastline of Crete island, from the archaeological site of Ancient Lissos (Λισός), a ruined city since the later Classical times near Sougia village, to Paleochora.
I start this hike from the archaeological site of Lissos, following the black and yellow sprayed signs and poles, over to Gialiskari beach.
I then transfer to dirt road till Paleochora’s camping, where I continue on paved road till Paleochora town.
Mobile network coverage had been relatively good throughout except few spots when ascending from Lissos.
