MOUNT GABLE
Beautiful moderate hike to difficult by location. Preferably equip waterproof footwear and a rain jacket.
Leaving the village, the climb takes place on a path with a magnificent view of Lake Corrib and its many islands. Once at the first summit you can admire Lake Mask on the other side. Then go through the summit between peat bogs (no trail) to
discover an exceptional panorama on the Connemara mountains. The start of the descent is rather steep to arrive at another small lake against and always no track (yours will be the best). Back to Clonbur
