Itinerary description
Alvaiázere - Malhadas
more trails so it is getting more like the Camino Frances route. The hotel was a bit off the path so I had to use other gos maps. I was really tired after stopping for a restaurant lunch. A guy in a van pulls up and asked me if I was Charles. I was confused. He said to get in for a ride to the hotel. The lady at the hotel said somebody at a school I walked by had noticed me and called. She sent her gardener to pick me up. She gave me taxi numbers to get back to the route but my Portuguese was not good enough to get a ride. I called her to see if she would call a taxi for me but she said to wait 10 minutes snd she could give me a ride. Some of these hotels were a town or two from the camino route so I have extra miles.
