Itinerary description
This is a nice hike along the road in the area where we were staying. The loop trail takes you down hill for the first 1.1 kilometers where you cross on a bridge over a small river. Turn right and begin your long climb (up over 430 meters) to the top of the hill (see waypoint). The road starts out as paved, with two lanes and as you get closer to the top it narrows, turns to gravel and is more like a lane than a road. Great scenery, numerous vistas as you pass by farms (mostly coffee) and many homes along the way. The traffic was very light, maybe 2 or 3 vehicles on our two hour trip.
