Alternativa más corta de la GR10 de Sare hasta Hendaye con 2 atajos

An alternative slightly shorter route mainly along the GR10 from Sare to the beach at Hendaye. We took a shortcut after descending Larrun through some muddy area, instead of descending to the Olhette parking area and arriving at the Col Descargahandiko Lepoa. A short part of this was hard to navigate through thick ferns. From the col we were back on the GR10 and descended to cross a river and enter Spain (leaving the GR10). We followed a narrow tarmac road near a rural Borda Elzaurdia (judging by signs), and upa long steep hill, to a junction to a restaurant called Okalarre, wherewe turned right and the road levelled a bit to the border with France and the col at Ibardín. We turned left (north-west) at the col and walked through the ugliest shopping area the Ventas de Ibardin, which we rushed past, joining the GR10, and following that (well marked trail) along and eventually down to the village of Biriatou and onward to the beach at Hendaye, to celebrate the end of our 8 year epic GR10 hike! This was a long hiking day.
Una alternativa de la GR10 un poquito más corto desde Sare hasta Hendaye. En la bajada desde Larrun evitamos Olhette, cojiendo un atajo, pero un parte de esta senda fue algo difícil navegar debido a los helechos y el barro en la senda. Volvimos a la GR10 en el col Col de Descargahandiko Lepoa. Desde allí seguimos las marca bajando y cruzando el río en la frontera. Pasamos una borda y empezamos subiendo por una pista de asfalto cerca de la borda Elzaurdia, pasando un cruce al restaurante Okalarre, y volvimos a la frontera al col por el lio de la Ventas de Ibardín. Allí se vende de todo. Nos escapamos y seguimos las marcas de la GR10 hasta Biriatou, y luego Hendaye, para terminar el GR10, que nos costó 8 años en hacer desde Banyuls en el Mediterráneo hasta la playa de Hendaye en el Atlántico! Fue un recorrido largo.
