Itinerary description
Alp a Coll de Pal - GR4
This was a beautiful section of the GR4. It was all uphill but mainly a gentle climb over nearly 13 km. Other friends (from GRMania) started in Puigcerdà, 9 km away so added more kms over fairly flat ground. Our bus was waiting to take us down to Bagà for lunch afterwards - there are actually another 30 metres to the top of the 'Coll'. Thankfully it was a cool day and the wonderful views as we passed Masella and La Molina ski resorts make this walk worth the effort.
