Itinerary description
<<< English >>> The cable car Mont Blanc Skyway is worth the money, no doubt. It may seem expensive (48 euros, July 2016) but I think it is money well spent. The fun begins from the very moment when you start to climb: - Oops, the cabin is turning around!. You are right, the cable car cabin rotates 360 degrees as it rises. The view from Punta Helbronner is breathtaking. Not only the view of the Mont Blanc itself but the activity of climbers walking towards different summits. From Punta Helbronner you can access the Torino hut through an elevator (yes, a lift at 3.466 meters high) and an underground passage. All facilities of the cable car are very new, very clean and in excellent condition. Punta Helbronner cafe is cozy and not expensive. Just have a caution: ensure that the visibility on the summit is good. The cable car parking costs 5 euros for stays between 5 and 12 hours but is very small and fills up quickly. Avoid going on weekends. It's a good idea to book the tickets online on their website (http://www.montebianco.com/) to avoid timeouts (the price is the same). On the way down we stopped at the intermediate station, Mt. Fréty, with idea of walking around but signposting is very poor. First we went to the right but we came to a torrent that was not prepared to be crossed. Then we went to the left, along a path marked "Brenva" but we came to another torrent labeled "expert hikers only". It seems that the bridge had fallen. Finally we had to go back to the cable car without being able to walk around.

Hola
¡Buena ruta!
