Die hier angegebenen 1481 Höhenmeter sind wohl übertrieben. Die Android-App zeigt 1020 m, was mir angesichts des Höhenprofils realistischer erscheint.
Start war am Campingplatz in Algund. Das erste Stück des Weges geht durch Privatgelände. Als Startplatz ist auch die Talstation des Sessellifts Algund gut geeignet, an der dieser Weg vorbeiführt. Dort gibt es auch einen Parkplatz.
Bergab haben wir die Gondelseilbahn von den Muthöfen zum Tiroler Kreuz genommen,
