This route is part of a group that combines hiking in the country with a 18-day trip and cruise through the Fjords of Alaska and also on hikes at one of the points that visit the cruise.
After three days of cruising with one of navigation and the other two, first visit the Hubbard Glacier and the second we enter the Glacier Bay park where we can see quite a bit about the various ice creams there are and the various species of whales , seals, orchids and other marine animals. We could also see some other bear.
On the fourth day of the cruise, we reach gifts to the town of Skagway, on the upper part of the Lynn Fjord and from where the famous WHITE PASS AND YUKON RAILROAD leaves . We start to walk directly from the dock where the Boat is docked and where there are several units of the railroad about to take cruise passengers and take them on a train ride.
We walk parallel to the road to a pedestrian crossing that we cross to continue along the track until we take a path that goes to the lake below to the water tank that we pass below. which we arrive in a short while and in which we see a seaplane parked.
We leave the lake, a few meters away, to our right, a path that leads us to the upper lake where there is a small refuge that will turn us out of pearls to take refuge in the rain that has to fall.
Starting from the lake, the path ceases to be a path and we have to follow the landmarks that take us on top of a pedestrian bit uneasy to walk but that you have the virtue of being outside the forest and therefore the views of the fjord , and the glaciers and the mountains that border it are between fantastic and spandrels.
When we are on top of a fake neck beneath ours we can already see the Devil's Punch Bowl that I have tried to translate and is something like Ponxera del Diablo. It really is under ours and it makes you a cup and what I do not know is because it's from the demon.
For the return, as I said, we made the path of the stones under the bidding and we stopped at the hut to make a bite and look at some of the mullet. We take the path again and we make the long descent along the same path. Be fine, you will not notice that we do not return to the dock directly, and it is that the town is full of shops and bars or you are very glad to have a beer. The trace back to the dock we've skipped it but we do not miss the boat.
Note: it is graded as moderate by the stretch of the stones. Even the hut is easy at all.
