Itinerary description

It is a beginner+ trail about 7.5 km long and 480m elevation gain. The trail is well defined and marked, so you will definitely find the way. My GPS trek is more than enough. At the top, you will have a rewarding view of the city of Khor Fakkan and the Gulf of Oman. If you start early in the morning almost all trek will be in the shade

Trail parts:
P-01 - P-08. In this part, you will see the dam on your left side. There are plenty of benches to have some rest. At the end of this section, you will find a shelter at P-08.

P-09 - P-11. You will mainly descend to a dirt road.

P-11 - P-16. Dirt road walk.

P-16 - P-21. Ascent to Al Suhub rest area. It is quite steep, but you do not need hiking poles to return. All trek is significantly improved and there are many man-made steps.

Parking location coordinates - 25.348870, 56.314850. Any car can reach the parking.

Must-have gear:
1) Hiking shoes
2) 2-3 liters of water

I have followed this trail  View more

The trail was not easy for me - beginner. Had to take a lot of breaks and there were some chairs that I could rest. After finishing the trail next the dam, it became easier.
