Itinerary description
We finally visited Fatemah at Yalova and she organized a hike for us. Short easy hike, no jungles, long uphill and long downhill. Beautiful Iznik lake views, fresh and tasty spring water, dozens and dozens of olive trees by the lake. I never ate so much wild fruits: big ripe apricot, white cherries, mulberry, plum (red ones not some erik). First time I saw hazelnuts and walnuts growing on trees. I hope I’ll get a chance to eat them from a tree when they get ripe. The hike ended at the Keramet hot springs which was nice despite a bunch of kids swimming in there (and probably pissing). We found the source from the bottom of the pond where the source spring was coming from. We were very lucky getting ourselves a hired dolmus back to Yalova.
