First stop on this wonderful 30-day trip through New Zealand.
Akaroa is a town on the South Island of New Zealand, located on the Banks Pendula, very close to Christchurch, the capital of the South Island.
This peninsula of volcanic origin extends over the Pacific, forming meanders and cliffs of spectacular morphology.
An area that must be visited on a trip to this island, as it is well connected to Christchurch and it is a beautiful area.
Many routes to do in the area, in our case we chose the ascent to Purple peak. Some beautiful views from the heights seeing how this peninsula has been formed.
Very hot day. It is good to carry water even if it is a short route.
Technically very easy, the path being very clear and the unevenness quite constant.

Men husk at følge den anviste rute retning - af hensyn til udsigten. Vi tog den “baglæns” - det havde været bedre i den rigtige retning
No puedes evaluar una ruta porque no se realice en el sentido que a ti te gusta. La ruta y el track están perfectamente explicados, para poner una opinión así, mejor te la ahorras y la haces tú solo sin un track....a ver que tal te va....
