Itinerary description

This unofficial circular trail goes through a few villages of which Vikla is ruined and abandoned one except for the old church of Ag Nikolaos which was renovated.

The route as well goes via golf fields and you may witness golf players at game.
One can visit several old churches along the way.
In addition you may deviate a bit to see old water mill and Venetian bridge.

TERRAIN: mostly dirt and asphalt roads. Some wet crossing in the beginning but most likely it has seasonal nature. A few ascents in the 1st part of the trail and a long descent along gravel road in the 2nd (poles would be of help).

SEASON: fully sun exposed route. Not sure about seasonality of the river but you definitely witness it during cool seasons, in addition you’ll see plenty of blooming flora.

SIGNS: no signs but the are a few picnic spots on the way.

KIDS: Ok for kids of any age.
