Itinerary description
Ajderovac - Dabašnica -Ravna Čemernica - Stražbenica
UPOZORENJE !!
WARNING!!
The route is marked as difficult due to the fact that the area of the abandoned village of Dabašnica is increasingly neglected and the paths and roads are increasingly overgrown and few people pass through them. This especially applies to the part of the trail that I have marked on the map with the help of PHOTOS as TOČKA/POINT A and TOČKA/POINT B--- This part is located between the game feeding area (where the old forest/village road ends) and the old cattle/shepherds path that leads out to the Ravna Čemernica plateau and the Stražbenica ridge. For the passage between point A and B, we chose to follow and climb along two forest cuts (dry river beds) that are already quite overgrown with bushes, and sometimes it is necessary to break through them and look for passages. The beginning of the mentioned old livestock path is in the meadows slightly east of these forest cuts and in the continuation of the watering hole, but these meadows are also increasingly covered by wild vegetation. However, the route is easier to navigate when you finally reach the old cattle road, and when you reach Ravna Čemerncica plateau and the ridge of Stažbenica, the trail is clear and very attractive, and the views from it are extraordinary - both on the surrounding ridges of the Mazin mountain, and on the western Bosnia and Bosnian Pounje, Croatian Gornje Pounje and Poštak.
