Itinerary description
We started at Aintoura at the edge of the village. There is some sort of picnic place.
The hike starts on asphalt road (around 1.5km).
Then we followed a dirty road till a bridge that we crossed and we were on the other side of the mountain. We followed a narrow trail and then an ascending dirty road till we reached Tarchich.
In Tarchich, we cut through some fields, followed some asphalt/dirty roads till we reached the main road "Mrouj-Zahleh". We crossed it and followed again another dirty road for some km.
In this part, the hike is easy to follow even if there are many dirty roads in the region.
After some km, we left the dirty road and passed between two big rocks.
After passing the big rocks, we were seeing Fouar Dara and we head towards it (no real trail but easy to get there)
We visited each corner of this place.
Then we went up where we had our lunch break on the rocks overseeing the Fouar Dara.
For our way back, we did not want to follow the dirty road leading to the road "Mrouj-Zahleh", so we climbed the mountain behind the Fouar Dara and we walked on the other edge . No trail but not difficult to follow. Then we went down and crossed the road.
We followed a trail parallel to the main road and beneath the cliffs. We made a small mistake and at a certain point, we went lower then the level we were following.
We had to climb through the bushes to the upper level (it was not easy, try to avoid this mistake).
We followed this trail till Qattine Azar. We went to the other side of this place and continued in the same direction till we reached the asphalt. We made around 70 meters on the asphalt and then we took a dirty road and then asphalt roads to reach the starting point.
Kindly rate my trails if your follow any of them
