Itinerary description
We completed this beautiful Ain Sheriya trail leading up to the archaeological site where we can see the ancient drawings done by humans who lived in this area. Then we attempted to go up Jebel Hamri till a midpoint and then we returned back. The trail can be followed back down from the archaeological site location itself.
This is a very scenic trail which is well marked, we can see the mountains change colours as we walk through them we can see yellow, pink, red coloured mountains. These colours are due to their geological characteristics.
The start point for the hike is about 2-3km from the main road, so need to take a detour from the main road and go inside to reach the starting point shown in this trail.
You also walk through a farm when you begin the hike.
