Itinerary description
The road to Saint Charbel statue was blocked so we started our hike downhill directly heading towards the waterfall. We reached the Faraya Dam then did a tough ascent towards the famous ‘crocodile’ rock.

Really beautiful hike in the spring with different landscapes and surprisingly nice wild life (butterflies, bugs). The way up to the view point was not as obvious, hence we got a bit lost but the trail is largely as shown. We started in a different spot because we didn’t want to see the Mar Charbel. You also do a small part of the LMT.
