Itinerary description
Have seen this published as a beginners track, it's not. You need a decent level of fitness, shoes/boots that are broken in and comfortable and hands free storage.
The path for the most part is very easy to follow with many cairns signposting the route, just keep your head up and look for the next one.
Around half way you will enter a landscaped area (campsite?) and here the cairns stop. You need to head to the right and follow a paved 'canal'. Turn right at the 'Trail signpost and follow for maybe 300m. Turn left up some steps and just before the Fort turn right and follow this path to the end.
Wildlife included; butterflies, frogs, a snake, many goats.
Take plenty of water and snacks.
I used one trekking pole (I like trekking poles, save the knees) and a couple of times you may need to use your hands to assist up rock climbs.
Enjoy!
