YEARS AGO: The Pheriche hospital was founded in 1973.

Today we start a stage that will always be downhill. We leave at 9, warmed up because it's always cold in Lobuche, despite the fantastic days we have as usual in the month of October according to my experience from other years. One example is the ice that has formed in a small puddle next to the Lodge.

From Lobuche we will redo the route of the day of ascent, but now always in a southerly direction, although we will stop in different towns, such as when we go to Pheriche (on the ascent we were in Dingboche).

We are going down gently. With small ups and downs we will do the first 2.5 kilometers, until we reach the Sherpa Memorial.
