Itinerary description
A very straightforward linear tour starting from the main Fira Akrotiri Road. It is route 7 on the Greek numbering of routes for Santorini Island.
Doing this tour gives an opportunity to see a windmill, albeit modernised and not working. Agios Nikolaos cannot be seen from the cliff: you have to hike down. Just before reaching the church (which is shut) on the right there is a natural window through the rock.
The track carries all the way down to the sea, where the Baths of Plaka are. The track is steep in places and full of loose scree so I did not bother.
There is a car park if you just want to visit the church and you can walk back from there to the windmill.
