Itinerary description
Track starts through the cafe and goes up to a height of a bit more than 100m. Then turn left and go down. The last stretch down is probably better done on the track than the overgrown path. At the bottom you have to pick your way round the rocks and then cross the stream. Usually quite dry in the summer but we had to paddle. Sadly it’s a point where a lot of old plastic waste washes up but nevertheless the stony beach at Banikas is pretty and quiet and a good place for a swim in hot weather! Overall good exercise and very good views. Especially the view back all along to Chorefto and beyond.
