Itinerary description
Hike up and down Agia Roumeli Fortress. This is a roundtrip route starting from Agia Roumeli. If you are doing the Samaria Gorge, the best way to reach the fortress is to follow the trail on your right, right after the Samaria Gorge exit.The trail is easily visible. This is less steep and will take you to the top. Then you can follow this trail to hike down to Agia Roumeli.
