Itinerary description
You go from Agia Roumeli in the direction of Samaria gorge, and after you pass next to a small church, you turn left and go uphill. At the altitude of around 220 metres you reach the old Turkish (Venetian?) fort of Koules. Afterwards you follow trail marked with blue dots (and ultimately green sparrows) to arrive at the altitude of 550 metres to ruins of an old fort.
The trail is steep. In summertime too hard to do it in full sun.
