Climb to the peaks Aghla Beg (564 m), Ardloughnabrackbaddy (603 m) and Aghla More (584 m). Made solo on May 10, 2019.
The 3 are part of the mountain range of Derryveagh Mountains in County Donegal, and belong to the Seven Sisters next to the Errigal, Mackoght (uploaded a couple of days ago), Crocknalaragagh and Muckish.
Simple route in which the only problem is that there is no clear path from the start of the climb to the 1st peak.
Although evident, you depend mainly on the visibility and humidity of the terrain, because it can be hard if it is very wet. In the descent of the last peak, I crossed a pedrero, which can be easily avoided.
Excellent views of the Errigal.
I met a mountaineer who was doing the Seven Sisters ... I take note for another visit, although it is a linear route, so a support vehicle is required.
I leave it moderated by the type of terrain and because there is no clear path. No technical difficulty.
