Itinerary description
This trail combines scenic mountain views with a visit to an ancient Panagia Asinou church.
Trail starts across the cemetery of Agios Theodoros Soleas village, where you can leave your car.
First 3 kilometers of the trail you will have to climb uphill from 480m to 800m, enjoying scenic views while trying to catch your breath.
Next 3 kilometers is a mixture of nature trail and a forest road path to the Panagia Asinou church. If you choose to stick with my route, you will have to cross a small stream. Alternatively, you may follow a forest road once you have a clear view of the church from the trail.
Remaining part of the trail follows the forest road until 8.5km from the start, and then switches to a nature trail that eventually meets the forward leg of the route at approximately 10 km from starting point.

Followed the non-official part in the opposite direction. Sometimes it was hard to identify the trail but all in all good exercise and fantastic views from the hill.
