Afur circular - ⭐⭐⭐

We deden deze prachtige wandeling in het Anaga gebergte medio december 2022. Van Afur naar Taganana en terug via de Cumbrecilla. 12km in totaal en 850 hoogtemeters. De Barranco van Afur moet qua schoonheid en indruk zeker niet onderdoen voor deze van Masca! Het kustpad naar Taganana is echt spectaculair! De zon kwam erdoor en het was echt genieten.. ( maar bij momenten ook stevig afzien 🙂) De klim naar de Cumbrecilla is best pittig! Wij deden deze wandeling in "wijzerzin" , sommigen doen hem ook andersom. Dan heb je de klim door de barranco op het laatst. Hangt er van af wat je verkiest.
Noot: Toen wij deze tocht deden stond aan het begin van het kustpad: "Cendero cerrado" (closed path), (dec 22) maar het pad is eigen op geen enkel moment echt gevaarlijk. Iedereen wandelde gewoon verder. Je gaat dus verder op eigen risico, maar voor wie goed te been is dit geen enkel probleem!

ES: : Hicimos esta hermosa caminata en las montañas de Anaga a mediados de diciembre de 2022. De Afur a Taganana y de regreso a través de Cumbrecilla. 12 km en total y 850 altímetros. ¡En términos de belleza e impresión, el Barranco de Afur ciertamente no es inferior a este de Masca! ¡El camino costero a Taganana es realmente espectacular! Salió el sol y fue muy agradable.. (pero también duro a veces 🙂) ¡La subida a la Cumbrecilla es bastante dura! Esta caminata la hicimos en el sentido de las agujas del reloj, algunos lo hacen al revés. Luego tienes la subida por el barranco al final. Depende de lo que prefieras.
Nota: Cuando hicimos este viaje, el inicio del camino costero decía: "Cendero cerrado", (22 de diciembre) pero el camino en sí no es realmente peligroso en ningún momento. Todos siguieron caminando. Así que continúas bajo tu propio riesgo, ¡pero para aquellos que tienen buena movilidad esto no es ningún problema!

ENG: We did this beautiful hike in the Anaga Mountains in mid-December 2022. From Afur to Taganana and back via the Cumbrecilla. 12 km in total and 850 altimeters. In terms of beauty and impression, the Barranco from Afur is certainly not inferior to this one from Masca! The coastal path to Taganana is truly spectacular! The sun came out and it was really enjoyable.. (but also hard at times 🙂) The climb to the Cumbrecilla is quite tough! We did this walk in a clockwise direction, some do it the other way around. Then you have the climb through the barranco at the end. Depends what you prefer.
Note: When we did this trip, the start of the coastal path said: "Cendero cerrado" (closed path), (Dec 22) but the path itself is not really dangerous at any time. Everyone just kept walking. So you continue at your own risk, but for those who have good mobility this is no problem at all!
