Itinerary description

A record breaking, a beautiful experience and an incredibly challenging hike combining three mountains and including four peaks starting with Kneisseh, followed by Zaarour, then Sannine and finally Mzaar.
We were a group of three who decided to accomplish this adventurous amazing hike during daylight and we succeeded. We started at 5:15 am at the first glimpse of light and finished our last descent at Faqra ligne de cretes on sunset, then made our last steps to the car on twilight. Our only stop was at Zaarour summit. We had our coffee break there.
Rated it very difficult obviously due to the bulk amounts of distance length and altitude gain and loss, the steep descents were as difficult as the ascents. But other than that, all roads were clear.
The beauty of each of the three mountains is exquisite !! So imagine combining them in 1 day!! 360 degree panoramas to exceptional sceneries all day long. U have 4 lines of ridges to follow:
1 after Kneisseh summit, another after Zaarour summit, a third one when mounting up towards St. Marie cross on Sannine Mt. and last one after Mzaar summit , when heading down towards Faqra.
When reaching St. Marie cross on Mt. Sannine do not attempt to make shortcuts or cross outside the 4X4 trail due to possible mines in the area ( from St. Marie cross at Sannine summit till Mzaar summit)
Our mistake was that we didnt bring jackets, we ddnt expect to face a gust of cold wind. So make sure u dont do the same.

Hey Rami! Thank u man and yes indeed!
Imagine starting mounting up the mighty Sannine in an afternoon after spending the whole day (since 5am) traveling and summiting Mt. Kneisseh and Zaarour. I think the essential trick in such grueling hikes is to pick the right partners, u need to trust them and make sure they share the same expectations and whose fitness level matches ur own of course. It was a great memorable experience:
Looking forward seeing u on trail;)

I'm thinking of doing this trail in a couple weeks, any tips for preparation?

Hey @Tarakenkhuis. Now that daytime has shortened, u’ll spend a part of it in the dark. U will enjoy it if u dnt mind but considering that in this trail u’ll be trekking on peaks u’ll miss some of the panoramic views.
Other than that, i believe u checked the numbers of kms and ascents which also reflects how much enjoyments u get.
