Itinerary description
Much more pleasant than the trails on the coast. Enough shadow to make it nice to take and basically flat. Lots of asphalt road but not taken by cars, so even better to walk. Take lots of water with you and start soon in the morning. If you can, do not start in Lecce since the surroundings are quite boring but start in Acaya which is a pretty village with castle.
