Itinerary description

Vík í Mýrdal es un pueblo alejado frente al mar situado en el sur de Islandia. Se encuentra a la sombra del glaciar Mýrdalsjökull, que cubre el volcán Katla. La playa de Reynisfjara tiene guijarros negros, columnas de basalto y las formaciones rocosas de Reynisdrangar. Los acantilados de la montaña Reynisfjall albergan aves marinas, como los frailecillos. Justo al oeste, la península de Dyrhólaey tiene un gran arco rocoso.
