Itinerary description
A hike in Bon Echo Provincial Park around three lakes, Abes, Essens and Clutes. The real highlight was the back country campsites which are quite nice, spacious, located on the water and very private.
The trail was marked and signed and took you through mixed forest with some mature trees. Nice views of the lakes, the best spots are taken by the campsites which are almost always reserved. We were fortunate in our timing and were able to get a pretty good look at each of the sites.
This would be a great place to camp, glad we got a chance to see what the park has to offer.
