The route that I indicate here is the path that starts from the Totaranui camp to climb Mount Gibs.
I couldn't reach the top, since time was running out, but the route is simple, and the only difficulty is the slope to be overcome.
I recommend it, without a doubt, as part of the entertainment of being in Toan and taking advantage of the experience of doing the Abel Tasman.
In our case, we ended our track here, although it can be extended one more day.
In this camp we also had access control, verifying the date and payment of fees.
The Totarsnui campsite does have drinking water. It is the first point that is accessible by an unpaved road.
In case of emergency, this is the most suitable place for possible evacuation.
