Itinerary description
If you don’t have time to do the whole Abel Tasman coast track, this is it!
Take the watertaxi in Marahau. The driver took us to the special rock (split apple rock) and then stopped at a seal colony where mother seals were nursing their babies.
He really gave us lots of information about the reserve. Dropped us off at Anchorage bay, where we did the loop to a lookout and then returned to Marahau. Only the last part, when leaving the NP, to Marahau info point was alongside a road and not so great.
