Itinerary description
We hiked this trail from the first accessible artificial lake to reach saydit al habs.
The first half of the hike was in the village, the second half we hiked an asphalt road until we reach the cliff of saydit al habs.
We passed by Saydet al reaayeh (Main Aaqoura church), then St. George cathedral, after that we took a stair (200 steps) upward to reach St. Peter & Paul (one of the oldest maronite churches).
On the road we stopped at St. Elias church, then we started our ascent to reach Saydet al habs.
The views were amazing, recommended in spring.
There is no trail but you can easily follow the churches until you arrive to the destination.
Note the ascent was around 250m.
