Itinerary description
A pleasant walk with an initial steep incline on well laid paths, muddy in places, so bring shoes with good tread. The path reaches the Roaches ridge which offers splendid views across the valley. Follow the signposts to Lud’s church, through the woods you will find fantastic little gorge covered in interesting ferns and lichen. The route loops around. Can choose to take the road, offering a different perspective, or back along the ridge line.
