Découvrez Jamioulx à travers ses rues de village ainsi que ses sentiers forestiers.
La rivière du village, l'Eau d'Heure, a creusé un relief intéressant nécessitant une bonne condition physique pour effectuer cette randonnée. Ce relief offre de jolis paysages et un certain charme aux alentours.
Si vous passez par là le matin, je vous conseille la boulangerie le Fournil (au rond-point de Jamioulx). Au retour, n'hésitez pas à boire un verre sur la place chez Tonton Charles.
La friterie en face de la gare est bonne. Plus loin sur la rue d'Andrémont, Cool Burger est un food truck avec un horaire assez restreint mais proposant des burgers et frites d'une qualité vraiment très haute pour un prix correct. Et c'est du local !
EN: Want to discover a lovely village close to Charleroi? Walk through steep hills from the main river "l'Eau d'Heure" to elevated woods. This tour is a mix of village-ish streets and trails through the woods. The goal is to discover the centre of the village but also more peaceful surroundings. That said, most of the streets selected in this tour are pretty quiet.
Walking during the morning? Go to the best bakery of Jamioulx : "Le Fournil" (at the roundabout, village centre). If you ever want to drink a beer before ending your tour, why not having good times at "Tonton Charles" (village place, near the train station).
You can find good fries just in front of the train station. If you go further on the Andrémont street, you'll find "Cool Burger" (food truck) which - I have to admit -has highly variable schedule but you won't be disappointed : quality burgers and fries made of local products for a decent price!
