Itinerary description
A hike in the Karkonosze Mountains
16-17.06.2010
As usually, we started our journey by train and by bus. Then, by ski lift, we climbed Wielka Kopa Mountain . Then we had to walk long hours in order to get to the hostel. On the way we admired lots of wonderful views, such as Samotnia and Strzecha Akademicka hostels, Sloneczniki (Sunflower rocks), Snezne Kotly (Snowy pots).
Next day we went down Szrenica to see the Kamienczyk waterfall. Then we went to Szklarska Poręba to catch a train and get home – tired, but eagerly looking forward to our next trip; our next goal: the Tatra Mountains.
